The story follows Princess Scarlet — whose father was killed by his own brother (Claudius) to steal the throne. Scarlet tries to take revenge but fails and ends up in a place called the “Otherworld” — a kind of purgatory where only those who couldn’t complete their revenge arrive. There she meets Hijiri — a 21st-century paramedic who believes that helping others is his duty. Now the two must work together to find Claudius, hunt down the killer uncle, and find the “Door of Eternity” through which they can return to life. Is revenge everything? Or is forgiveness the better option? This film revolves around these very questions.
This is a movie, not a series — runtime is 120 minutes and it is completed. It was released in Japan on November 21, 2025, and in the US on December 12, 2025.
