The Ribbon Hero — a lost princess, whose homeland was destroyed by a mysterious disaster, is trying to start a new life in a new place, but when that same disaster returns, she forgets her pain and picks up her sword.
Princess Sapphire lost everything when her homeland Silverland was destroyed by a disaster called “Nergal.” Heartbroken, she arrives in Goldland, where she slowly begins to find new hope with the help of new people. But when the same Nergal disaster returns and threatens this new place as well, Sapphire makes up her mind — she won’t lose anyone again. With tears in her eyes, she ties her ribbon, picks up her sword, and challenges her fate. This film is based on Osamu Tezuka’s famous manga “Princess Knight” (1953) and gives it a new, modern twist.
