Pokemon Season 2 Adventures on the Orange Islands in Hindi — that season where Ash leaves Brock behind, gets a new companion Tracey Sketchit, faces the new challenges of the Orange League, and for the first time you see him capture cool Pokemon like Lapras — and yes, Misty is still there getting annoyed at Ash’s beginner’s luck.
Season 2 begins after the Indigo League — Ash returns to Pallet Town to celebrate his first League tournament, then Professor Oak gives him a special mission: to bring the “GS Ball” from Valencia Island. This is where Brock first takes a temporary exit (he melts so much in front of Professor Ivy that his heart-shaped eye expression became iconic). Then Ash and Misty meet Tracey Sketchit — a Pokemon watcher who is an expert at drawing, and his signature Pokemon is Scyther. In this season, Ash has to face different types of gym battles in the Orange League — swimming races, target shootings, and even rock climbing. And of course, he rescues a baby Lapras that later becomes his main transport and friend. Alongside are iconic episodes like the Crystal Onix, the Pinkan Island adventure with pink Pokemon, and Pikachu going rebellious again because of Butch and Cassidy’s evil Drowzee.
Season 2 has a total of 36 episodes and is completed — it aired in Japan from January 28, 1999 to October 7, 1999. In India, it first started airing on Cartoon Network from September 14, 2003.
